The mojo is an spl sub, so it requires a huge box, it can sound good for rap though. The mojo can handle 3 times is rms. Rms doesnt mean anything especialy if your talking about memphis subs. We have customers running 2000+ to the m3 mojos all day long. It will take it with ease.

Thank you, ya the Memphis website recomends 4ft^3 for one ported MOJO 12, and I had my 15 MOJO in a 5.4ft^3 ported box and it was a daily driver, and I had it running off of a 1000d and that barely got it moving (1100 watts) but I also had it in a crewbab frontier with no back seat. But I was just curious because I know they can get loud, but what everyone says about the typr r's, they get loud too

mojo in a good install with 1200w on each will own type r's....hands down...IMO

Just FYI... cone area is almost always a trump card in SPL when comparing mid to high end subs, multiplying it by xmax to give you the displacement is an even better way to do it.

You think so, The main reason I asked is because when I had my one Mojo 15 I built a 7.1ft^3 box tuned to 35 and I called a Memphis tech and asked him if I put two mojo 15's in that box would it be louder with the same power, and he said "no". "1 sub in the same size box as two would be louder if they were running off the same power". And thats what we have here, 1 12" vs 2 12" in the same size box but with the 1 (Mojo) with 500 MORE watts. Thats why I figured it would be louder ( and the fact that it is more of an SPL sub)
