could u help me anyway? everyones gotta learn sometime, and yes i read to learn im just asking general questions about gain settings. ive heard that properly setting the gains will allow the music to get loud when the HU volume is turned up about 3/4's of the way. well my question is, do i need to have an amp on my components for this to properly work? cuz u can barely hear my component speakers unless its at 36/46. so if i had the gains set right for the subs (its loudest at 20) i cant really hear the highs in the door speakers. i need an amp for them to be able to keep my HU volume at 20 for the best sound right?
