ok havin zr600 probs

ok here is the scenerio

i have in my girls car 2 12 TMA single voice coil (3.4 ohm subs or sumpin weird like that) and

a 1/2 farad monster cap

amp is a ZR600 kicker bridged to the subs

deck is a eclipse with 2 outputs ( iknow no subs she wont change it)

all 8 gauge power and ground

80amp AGU fuse

well everything worked fine til a couple days ago all the fuses on the amp blew, but not the fuse under the hood next to the battery

well i went to change the fuses out in the amp ( 3 30 amp) well it keeps blowin them

i figure id ask here before i go tear it all apart to see if anyone knows what it may be any and all help is appreciated

8g is way too small for that amp... sounds like the amp is toast

i dunno i have had the amp for years and always run 8 gauge to it..... it worked when i drove car then she ran to the store got back and shut it off and used the remote start next day and i didnt hear nuttin

and she dont turn it up that loud i bump the sht out of them subs

I feel you man.. exact same problem.

My PA2400DB was just bumpin along, blew the fuses. Replaced them all.. and now they all just blow... the amp is toast I'm afraid man, as is mine.

anyone fix these old amps? i dont want to throw it been an extremely faithful amp for years and i dont want to put my orions in her car
