LMao...I am not sayin' I am going to be the loudest around here..and I don't CARE....my buddy has six solo barics with a KX2500.1 Kicker amp powering each pair in the back of a Denali....I just want to be louder then this dude to shut him up...I work with him...so all day long I hear this non sense...it's just irritating...and I can't just walk away....because like I said we work together...and the ONLY way he'll shut up is if I beat him....and we're both going to a contest in August...so I have 2 more months of this kid telling me he knows ABO****ELY everything there is to know...and it isn't just his system...he has THE fastest car....THE hottest girlfriend.....and he is just THE shit....in every aspect of his life he is just THE man....and I can't stand that shit.....like I said...my stuff won't even win the contest...this I know...I may only beat him by .1 DB.....who cares...but I'll beat him...and to knock him off his pedestal so I can work my job in peace...it'll be worth it...

I hate that shit and I know how you feel. There's this kid that comes to my next door neighbor's house bumpin his lame shit all the way down the street and it pisses me off. i just wanna go out there and say look, *****, your shit sucks and then proceed to show him up. So Please...tell him he's a moron...because I am printing this out...and giving it to him....He has 2 SPL 12's...that he thinks are just THE cat's *** because they are 2200 watts Max a piece....he goes by how many watts a speaker is as that is how good it is....he is certain that they'll be louder then my 2 Kicker Solo Baric L7 12's....he has a Power Acoustik Class A/B 2 Channel Amp 1920 watt Plasma Saphire to be exact.....running at 2 ohms...so he's giving 470 watts to each speaker....and he said "Dude, the other day I was pounding so hard I blew a hole right through my box."....so I look and there is a good size chunk missing...and all he does is caulk the hole up and go about his way...he is convinced he has the loudest system ever...only because his subs "weigh 60lbs a piece"....so they are just monsters....he won't listen to me and put them in a Ported box because he says he ran tests and sealed was louder in his car....when he has a Hatchback Camaro....lmao....but 5/8'' Particle Board? come on now......so I can print this out and show him that not only I think he's a fool...other people do as well....reply.....please...

why don't you out of the good grace of your heart school the kid by convincing him to use one of your enclosures designed and built how one should be... It seems that every oneis a know it all sometimes and some are of course worse then others... But if you take the time to let him know that "he who exalts himself and his subwoofers.... Will surely be humbled next to someone who really knows something about somthing, or atleast has some common sense"...

Either help him, by teaching him by example rather then telling him theory...

Or just don't even bother exhausting your energy or breath in discussing any further car audio topics...

However go ahead and print this out and give it to him... It will give him a good indication to shut up, listen, read, and learn. He could have the potential to be the next SPL champion of the world.... We all started somewhere...

My first ever box was constructed out of PB... PB does work, just isn't as good of a material to use for several reasons. Sealed two chambers for a chevy silvorado single cab housing two 12" RF P2's or what ever they were... For what it was it sounded good... Actually to me at the time I thought it was loud as hell.... Then I read... I knew how to build shit, but I read, and read, even bought some lamo DVD's and learned the design principles, and fundamentals... I started off buying audiobahn.... I didn't know.... (BTW I will still admit I own and love the old school Immortal series sub AWISD12)

I have gone through so many systems, (currently don't have one in my new truck... but will be giving that a remedy soon enough)
