Drilling for more oil is only a temporary fix, what we need to get is a fix that doesn't rely on oil.

and setting up a rig to drill takes over 2 years, not to mention the cost

Most estimates are that any drilling that is approved now will not have any affect for 7-10 years. I think we need to drill like I said, but it is a band aid on a problem that needs major surgery.

It was up like 50 cents, it could still be that the bubble has burst, even when the .com bubble bursted some stocks would rise for a day then drop.

what you fail to realize is they are not the only one's who make that decision!!!! It is not like every republican in congress is 100% for it; both sides have opposition and the "fixing" you think you know about would take a minimum of 7 yrs to have any effect.

I think it will go down now that George Soros and his market hedging

buddies can see that the US population seems to be blaming democrats.

The plan was to keep the pain up right to the election, as long as bush,
