I am new to this car audio thing, to reach a 1 ohm load, what type of sub will I need? Would it be 2 D4 or 2 D2? I have read and can't find a definite answer. Some say 2 D4's others say 2 D2?

If you want to run a pair of woofers, then you would need a pair of D4's to achieve a final ohm load of 1.

2 D4's can be wired to 1 ohm or 4 ohm, and a pair of D2's can be wired to 2 ohm or 0.5 ohm.

Also you need an amp that is 1 ohm stable and probably powerful as well.
