i was wondering whats the difference between 1 ohm mono and 1 ohm stereo?

Your talking a 2 channel amp? Mono means bridging the amp (left + right - on most)

stereo is using each channel seperatly

so is 2 1ohm stereo loads *on a 2 channel amp* the same as having a 1ohm mono load on a 2 ch amp?
