Hey guys/girls...

Quick question...sub is MA Audio MA100XE which is dual 4ohms...

Amp is HK397 which has the following specs:

2 x 150W RMS @ 4 Ohm Stereo

2 x 250W RMS @ 2 Ohm Stereo

1 x 600W RMS @ 4 Ohm Mono

Can I hook up each voice coil to one channel of this amp? How can I get the most out of the amp with the given sub...

well if u connect to each channel you'll have a total of 300w to the sub...150/ coil.....if thats what you need then go for it

Is there anyway of getting more power out of this amp with this DVC 4 sub?

not if the amp isnt 2ohm mono stable.....

No...300 is the most you will safely get...

You can wire each coil to a channel in 4 ohm stereo for 150x2, or wire the sub to an 8 ohm load for 300 watts bridged...
