You would have to wire into your ignition to turn the alt on when the car is on. It's just the one wire you need to send 12v too. Because most likely your car only turns it on at certain voltages.

The bottem bolt should work, you would have to make a small braket to bolt the top bolt. And you would have to convert to one wire turn on.

Just out of curiosity, what the hell does this thing fit? Almost every chevy mentioned needs mods
