My question to you is this,

How does it sound? I know the preouts are 2v, so hows it sounds and what did you replace with this unit. Only ask because im getting a Clarion with 2v preouts soon and was wondering the output/noise difference.

i replaced my Clarion DXZ955 with this kenwood, i was mor fond of the way my Clarion sounded, i guess i had gotten used to it and had everything set right, it had more audio options to me, more stuff you could do with it

Clarion was 4v and this Kenwood has 5v pre outs, i didnt notice a difference

This kenwood is actually 4 volts. It's hard to beat clarion sq. especially that model you have.

Hmm this makes me not even wanna get the Clarion VRX765VD for the fact that its only 2v. Does that Kenwood have Ipod controller.

I was very much thinking about the DDX-8017 but dont know how it compares to your unit

Yeah is just a matter of how the ipod works with the music,hence why i am not thinking about Alpine anything
