That is the dumbest city in america. who moves back into a city that's below sea level that's already been destroyed once? if it gets destroyed again, I think I will go and laugh in the face of every person who rebuilt, just to get their stuff destroyed again.
True, and I get what you're saying, but I have nothing but respect for the people who stay and rebuild.. It's their home.. A similar thing happened here a few years back when the forests burned out of control and a lot of people lost everything.. Some of them moved elsewhere, but most of them stayed and rebuilt.. Laughing in their faces was the last thing on anyone's mind.. To most people, home is more than where your stuff is.. It's where you come from, and you take the good with the bad.. And what doesn't kill you makes you stronger..it's wrong, but why the hell would someone say "I'm going to move back to a place that was destroyed once, and stands a very good chance of being destroyed again because it's below sea level..."
Yeah, if it happens again, be prepared to see the city turn back into a pond, more riots, looting and "George Bush doesn't care about black people" PSA's.
It doesn't take the head cashier at Wal-Mart to figure out that New Orleans is a bad place to live.
