I am still living with my parents, but only because I am unable to find a place to live, but today I found a place. Its not pretty, but its in a good location and its cheap. Its a decent size mobile home for one person. Its 2bedroom 1 bath, but the second bedroom is really small, and its prolly smaller than my current closet. Its in a real nice neighborhood and its one of two trailers in the area, so its not like a trailor park or anything. All the other houses are nice modern houses, and prolly consider my trailer an eyesore (sp)

The told me if I help paint it then i dont have to pay the $300 deposit so Imma get my dad (who used to be a pro painter) to help me with the job. Its kinda bad looking now but maybe once I move into it and fix it up it wont be too bad. They are supposed to be done with it in a week or two so then i can move in. Its $300 a month plus utilities, which is a decent price I suppose being that its in a nice area.

Gonna really be nice living in town, right now I live about 8 or 9 miles out in the country so it takes 25-30 minutes to drive to work opposed to 5-10 once I move in to the new place. Can't wait to move into it and have my first trailer party //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Congratulations, at least you are not living with your parents. Keep your house clean and you should be ok.LOL
Yeah definitely gonna fill out the yard with those little pink flamingos and leave my christmas lights on all year. I also have to throw my used tires up on the roof

buying or renting? Anything is better then living with mom and pop. I had considered moving into one when i moved out, but was lucky enough to have friends with houses to move in with.

Imma rent, but possibly rent to own since it trailors are cheap and I dont like changing after something works ya know?

I dont know, I figured trailor is better than apartment since dont have to worry about noisy neighbors and what not. I wouldnt even consider it if it was in a bad neighborhood, but the neighborhood its in is a nice one and a few local doctors and stuff live on that street. The wasnt any trailers on that road at all until the people that are renting it to me put them in a few weeks ago to make some money. Iam kinda related to the people I am renting it from but not by blood.

How did you find a pic of my trailer that quick //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif:confused:

if you can, try and lease to own. That way, if you live in it for 5-10 years, you can sell it and get most if not all of your money back and step up to a nice house. Good luck.

it will be a ***** to heat and cool, very expensive.
Thats what I thought, but I went in it today and it was fairly warm in it and the heat/ac isnt even hooked up yet. Must be insulated pretty good for a trailer.

I dont like it real hot in the winter, but cooling is what I am worried about
