Leinart didnt he say he wasnt going to the nfl he was going to continue his studies?

That doesn't sound like something a football player would say. I thought he was just taking a dance class this semester to graduate. w/e, don't really care.

If you compare those stats, I would take D. Davis over D. Carr anyday. Plus D. Davis was hurt 6 games and would have put up some good numbers this year. Hell he just missed 1000yards with 11 games. They dont need Reggie bush, they need a better Quaterback and I do agree they need some better offensive lineman, but most teams do. If they had a good offensive line I guarantee that D. Davis would still put up better numbers. I gave the proof right there. But it is just my opinion as well. I say Vince Young some good offensive lineman and they might do decent. I know it would be better than what they have done in the past.

I think David Carr is fine. I think Domanick Davis is fine. They need a line and some defensive talent to become competitive. ANY quarterback that plays on a bad team looks.............well........BAD. Same for a running back that doesn't have a line to open holes for him yet Davis is averaging over 1000 yards and 50 catches per season. I wouldn't get rid of him.

I would draft Bush and see what they can get for him. AJ Hawk would be a good start to anchor a defense.

Just a thought.

I wil preface my following comments with this: Texas played better and earned the win and my congrats to Longhorn nation. That said.....

There were so many mistakes by SC in that one....

1: Reggie Bush's ill-advised lateral attempt

2: Leinarts pick down near the goal line

3: Officals blowing the call when V. Youngs knee was clearly down and giving them the TD

4: SC's total inability to do anything about V. Young who went buck-wild on them- he had like 30 of 40 passing and 200yds rushing w/ no sacks or picks. And I though Reggie Bush was the human video game! If V Young comes back for another year of college he is an idiot- his stock will never be higher than the performance he gave today.

I expected USC to win this game, and they should have but stupid uncharacteristic mistakes and 2 blown 4th and short attempts (especially the last one) cost them a third national championship. I think if this game was played 10 times USC would win 7, but they play it once and USC got beat. Props to Texas- this was the first time I had seen them play this year, and they are pretty unimpressive, except for that freak at quarterback- he carried that team, and the defense came up huge on a couple of plays for the win.

David Carr is fine- the line is horrific- did you see how many times he was sacked this year? The texans are a train wreck. V. Young is a fantastic college player, I am just concerned he would be another Mike Vick- running quarterbacks don't often fare well in the NFL, though Young seems to have better accuracy throwing from what I saw, but this was the only time I saw him play, and he played out of his mind last night.

Both Teams have plenty of fuk up plays..

Texas couldn't hold on to the ball, Reggie and his lateral..

However I NEVER want anyone to call USC the GREATEST college team in the world EVER again..

... and I told you bishes BUSH was a bust, sure he can out run other slow ass teams, but Texas has some speed baby.. Now USC's #21, he gets my props all day long, he was too big for Texas to stop..

I think my fav part of the game had to be Young. Everytime he went right...he broke through atleast one tackle to make a much needed play. He is definatly a valuable member of the team. I hope the predictions are correct on him returning next year.

He lost a game for the first time in a long time, 34 games I believe. That is NOT something I'd call a bust. He played better in the regular season (which is what the heisman is awarded for) and had a subpar bowl game. That happens to all backs when they face a tough defense. He had a better regular season than V. Young and thats why he won it. Now if the award went to the best bowl game Vince would have won it. All in all it was a very entertaining game. I'm glad neither team was my team because I might have had a heart attack.

That was a bad call on that one touchdown where Young pitched the ball to the other Young when it was clear he was down. Not only that it looked like the ball could have been pitched forward which would have also called it back. Either way, Texas prevailed due to perseverance by their QB and thats the bottom line. Of course he's on roids- he want's to play pro ball right? If you think anyone in the NFL isn't you are kidding yourself. V. Young is that team. What I can't figure out is why Pete-master of halftime adjujstments-Carol didn't have a linebacker spy on V.Young the whole rest of the game- no corner and few safteys are gonna tackle that freak.
