I think its interesting how things have worked out locally in the past few years for me.
We elected a black congressman (Emanuel Cleaver) and as soon as he was in office, he made my vote pretty much not count...let me explain.

I live on the border of 2 counties (within 5 minutes) . The county just north of me is Jackson county, and as soon as you cross into it, it becomes MUCH more heavily populated with black people.

I live in Cass county, predominantly white, and also much more "upscale" you could say, compared to Jackson at least.

As soon as Cleaver gets in, they combine our counties for the same precinct (i'm not really sure what its called, but we are now in the same section, both having the same choices on the ballots). So my vote is now basically thrown away because white people are outnumbered 3-1 between jackson and cass county combined.

That's how it's always been. Republicans create county lines specifically to favor them when they are in office, as do democrats. If you look at a map of district/county lines it's very obvious in most cases

What is pathetic is Obama and the Dems do not want the regular folks to watch the markets or jobs. They create sideshows to divert attention like with Rush and them going after Bush and Rove. What is funny is he is going to nearly at least bankrupt the country in hopes of passing an agenda rather than giving 2 hoots about the economy. Both my parents have lost 25k+ each out of their 401k's and he tells people not to care nor watch? What about his earmark/lobbyist promise? "I will go through with a scalpel line by line..." all bull crap so he can turn the country into a failure state..what is even funnier is the media nor his "fans" are sophisticated enough to understand what is going on.

Its glad to see there are still a few intelligent people around. Most people are so brainwashed by the media they have not the slightest clue

LOL I do not know what is funnier that sticker or the campaigning of the left about not blaming Obama for this mess. Last I checked HE KNEW what he was getting into and he has spent far far far too much time spending money we don't have for an agenda rather than actually taking care of the economy. Im not really saying he sucks but for all the doom and gloom he was putting out there without tackling the problem head on concerns me. Also just because the stock market is going back up does not mean anything is fixxed.

This past week had fail written over it for the White House as well as Congress. Where to fvcking begin is the only question.

If you watched the Congressional interrogation of AIG CEO Liddy then you should both frightened and ashamed of what your Congress is capable of doing. Their feigned shock and outrage over these bonuses is enough to make one need to puke. Of course, they are taking their lead from the White House on this issue.

Ironically, they are taking more time and effort to grandstand over a couple hundred million dollars than they put in considering the entire stimulus package.

Meanwhile, the new Great Communicator is caught "thanking" himself because he relies too heavily on teleprompters and is flying out to make fun of retards on Leno.
