I'm still pissed as well. Talked about it all day long at work. No one is crying over Kiffin. If you are a devote Tennessee fan then you'd be pissed too. I'm pissed because I was looking forward to next year. Tennessee was headed in the right direction and with Florida and Georgia losing a lot of players, Tennessee had a better chance at the SEC title. I just hope USC and Tenn meet in a bowl game and the Vols destroy them! Fuck Lane Kiffin!

He bails in the middle of the night, destroys the upcoming recruiting class, and recruits the kids who are already on campus practicing with the team (on Tennessee time I might add). I'm sorry but this is worse than last year. They were already playing a bunch walk-ons due to the decline of Fulmer and company and player cuts/transfers after the Kiffin hire. UT goes through that exact process for the 2nd straight year. The entire offensive line is gone, starting QB is gone, starting tailback is gone, starting NT is gone, Eric Berry is NFL bound. How is this better? It's the worse possible thing that could have happened. I hope he dies in a fiery plane crash, him and his whole fucking family.

Sure it does, but you obviously have never been to Knoxville. People are very very passionate about the Vols. Everywhere I went today I heard chatter about this. I wish I could forget about this, but I can't. Plus I like typing curse words. It's fun.
I hope his children get kidnapped by a ********* and fucks them till their ******* bleeds, then he does it for 2 more days. i feel ya hardknox, my buddy grew up in tennessee and is a die hard Vols fan and he is still pissed.. but ill tell you what i told him, if you can get Muschamp(sp?) then thats a huge step UP

Muschamp turned down the offer from UT last year. Also he's been named the Texas HC in waiting. I think it would be hard to sway him to UT. Even then what happens if Brown retires in the near future and the same thing happens again. The coach I'm hearing is a disappointment. I think Mike Hamilton is going to react to this too fast and make a terrible hire. It can't get any worse, they need to do this the right way and not just hire a name just to get things done.
