KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Phillip Fulmer will not be returning for an 18th season with Tennessee, according to multiple reports Monday.
ESPN.com cited multiple sources that Fulmer, 58, met with Tennessee officials Monday morning where they agreed it would be best if the coach did not stay on the job after this season. The report says an announcement will be made later Monday. The Tennessean also reported Fulmer would announce he would step down.

Who will most likely be the next coach?

My grandma called me today she has been a season ticket holder for over 50 years and is a huge booster to the program lol. She says there is a big push for Mike Gundy or I am a man as I call him lol. Tn has deep pockets and a offensive coach is what we need. Whats funny about this story is that my grandma called and I have never heard her so happy in my life lol.

If he brings Troop back with him then I'm all for it. I really don't think they will replace Fulmer with Gundy. Tennessee has very deep pockets so I think they will be going after a BIG name. Butch Davis, Lane Kiffin, Skip Holtz, John Gruden, Bill Cowher, and David Cutcliffe were some of my poll options.

texas tech will go down either this week or the week after..3 really tough games in a row texas okie state then oklahoma @oklahoma

I don't know. After the showing against Texas, I think they have a shot to go all the way.

I hate the big12, but they are a lot of fun to watch and their QB is something else.

Like to see TT and Penn State this year.
