**Official NBA thread**

I am actually rooting for the Hawks as the Cavs match up better to them than Boston. I actually am very shocked to see Atlanta going this far. I still don't see them beating Boston at their home court, but it would be crazy and even though I said Boston would go to the championship, I am pulling for Atlanta.
ya think? probably because they are the easiest match up for any team in the playoffs, unless you're the Celtics, they are getting exposed...

I don't know really. I mean we did beat Boston 2 out of the 3 times we played them in the season. Atlanta I can not remember, because I could care less about the Hawks then. They are surprising a lot of people, me included.

I just don't think they will stomp their way pass two good teams. Cavs are no joke and I believe we would fair better agains the Hawks than Boston, especially after their week performances against the Hawks. They will be out to prove that it was a fluke IMO. I don't want to go up against them now. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Go Hawks!

Also can someone explain to me why Kobe won the MVP this year? Especially with all the other guys that were up there to win it in LeBron, Paul, Garnett and others. Personally me I think it should have been Bron or Paul. Bron had better numbers and Paul did more for his team than anyone else.

i agree about paul but the reason why he won over lebron was team records. also many felt kobe was getting the snub for years which now places that slipper firmly on lebrons foot imo especially if he puts up close too or better numbers next year.

I think that is BS with the record thing. So if you are the best player on the team that has the best record.............in the West anyway, then you are awarded it. I hate that ****! Bron by far had the best stats across the board, much better than Kobe to be honest and Paul did so much more for his team, period! Hell if it wasn't for Gasol coming over the Lakers would not have had the record they have right now.

Also I never felt Kobe got snubed, although I feel he has put up much better numbers than he has this year. I hate the MVP race anyway.

awesome game, we lost, but they are at home and expected. gonna love this series. no doubt. duncan only had 5, but they wont contain him all series. Bowen with 17?! crazy. too bad finley was mediocre. udoka would have been good in rotation, but they sat him most of the game. both sides were throwing cheap shots here and there and overall gonna be a classic series, spurs in 7.

Howard won't put up stats like he did last series. Too many pistons can cover him. LOL and Duncan... I hate the Spurs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
