**Official NBA thread**

Pistons? Who said I like the Pistons, lawlers!

And even though I am not a fan of either team, the Pistons are more suited for a championship than Dallas.

Silly fans, I am a Cavs fan and they made it to the Finals last year and look good so far in the playoffs and I know they don't stand a chance this year.

Also I believe the Hornets will beat you anyway.

only series that even intrest me this year is utah-la and san antonio and la and whoever it is in the finals. as far as the first round goes cavs-and wizards is by far the best early match up because they dont like eachother. if the pistons lose to the 76ers though i will be in shock.

I have to agree with you. However I will be really pushing for the Hornets out of the West. Chris Paul has to be my new favorite player and I could see him as the MVP to be honest. He has done so many things for that team, it isn't even funny. They could surprise a lot of teams.

Cavs/Wiz are always fun to watch IMO. They are similar in some ways and yet so different, but always makes a fun match between the two.

I would be shocked as well if the Pistons lose.

Ehhh okay? It's not like the predictions I made were serious upsets.
Picks were made before the Playoffs started.

Anywho, the Mavs are a more realistic choice than your crappy Pistons. =)
you are a complete idiot.

I tried to make the bet, but we couldnt come to terms
you stopped pm's and stopped posting here for a few days thinking i would forget about it all. you didnt want to agree on the subs+cash and i agreed to do the subs alone...you didnt pm back.

Hawks will be a force with some more expierence under them. They are very young, but have excellent talent.
With that said, I don't know what is wrong with the Celts, however I still feel they will win the series.
I certainly hope they do win the series...it'd probably be the biggest upset in NBA history to have the team with the overall best record, touted as the title favorite, to lose to a sub .500 team that would have been the 10-11th seed in the west.

Seems to me you think you know all there is to know about the NBA, but you really don't.

its a paid off 2007 hhr, gets me 34MPG on my commute, has about 2.5K in audio, and attracts less attention than a more expensive car, cheaper insurance, etc... the thing is that you fail to mention that i also owned a 2001 lexus gs300 which was also paid off and sold a few months after i got my hhr.

the lex was a great car, but the maintainence was killer and the MPG sucked. i sold it for $17k and was able to turnaround and pick up an investment on a house which has since been flipped for profit.

with gas where its at today i could care less about speed and fast cars. on a side note i do side work at a ratrod/hotrod shop. i am in the process of building a 1950 Ford Tudor which is chopped, channeled, and radiused hood/trunk. it will be bagged on 3" coker whitewalls and a 350/700 drivetrain. it will be kinda slow and laid out. just a classic cruiser and once again its an old mans car thats not built for speed.
