No technically it is the other way around. Just b/c you get your team to a championship does not make you the best player. But Kobe still has that.
A.) Lebron is not the best player of are time. Top 5, yes. number 1, no chance. That would be one MJ.

B.) Kobe is a waaaay better defender than Bron Bron. Not to mention better handles, and much much better jump shooter. Kobe can score at will, either at the hoop or off the dribble. Last time I checked Lebron has not scored 80+ points in a game.

C.) Not taking anything away from Lebron. He is an amazing player. Possible to be the best ever, but he has plenty of work to do for that. Right now he is 2nd best in the NBA and 3rd is not even close to Kobe or Lebron. He is ahead of Kobe for his age, but to say he is the best player in the NBA is wrong.

I'll say that Lebron is a way better player than Kobe in that he carried his team past the Pistons to the championship. Why does this make him good? Because his team sucks, there are no real outstanding player there. So for him to bring that team to the championship (even if they got whupped by the Spurs).

Please explain how Lebron is better than Kobe right now? And bringing your TEAM anywhere means nothing. Lebron has MUUUUUUCH better players than Kobe did. I am not talking about which team has done better recently. We are talking about better basketball player, not the better teammate.

imho, Kobe right now is the better player but Lebron is not that far behind him. But when its all say and done, I think Lebron will be the greatest ever. i dont think anyone was as good as lebron at his age.

And Lebron is a better player because he can work with sorry *** teammates. I don't know how you can even justify that Lebron has much better players (I assume you mean teammates) than Kobe. Hell, the Lakers lost when they had Shag, Kobe, Malone, and Payton on the same team. That should say something about Kobe.

And yes, Kobe handles balls, not basketballs

Kobe had Odom. Thats it. Everyone else was trash, including Bynum last year. You trying to say Kwame Brown is a good teammate?

So yes Lebron had a much better cast than Kobe. Not that it was great by any means, but still better, and in a much worse conference than the Lakers. I mean they played the Wiz, Knicks, Heat, Celtics, etc.

Not trying to take anything away from Lebron, b/c he COULD be the best ever, but he simply is not the best right now.

Are you saying Kobe never had any good players or just basing it on this year? Even so your point is moot, due to the fact that James don't have anyone! Yes, Lakers have Odom, who is a decent player, not to mention an all star in Gasol! Does Bron have that? Nope! Oh wait, they do have Wallace, LMAO! Please, the Lakers roster is much, much better now and back then with the likes of O'Neal and others. Also, lol at you saying Bron had Hughes, Gooden and Z. What have they done? Nothing, zip, zilch! Well Z is a decent Center, but still Bron is an amazing talent and puts up better numbers than Kobe did at his age. Hell Brons numbers are much better than Kobes right now. You really are funny!

Another note, Gooden isn't with the Cavs anymore, nor is Hughes! Also Kwame Brown isn't with the Lakers dumbass!

Why does the Gasol trade baffle you? Guy is an awesome player and averaging over 20 pts a game with the Lakers. Are you really that slow?
