I always wondered how Denver did so poorly considering the talent they have. I found out they have the worst defense I have ever seen.

not any more, with k-mart back and iverson, just look at the steals those two get together. then counting all of cambys blocks. but they still need a good pg, iverson is great but is more suitable at the sg

Have you not watched them? I have never seen the lane that wide open in an NBA game, not too mention their rotation and help side defense was atrocious. The Pistons put 134 on them. They also **** at rebounding. I can't recall when Detroit didn't get a good look at the basket.

Well, we all know how much the NBA guys that are married cheat on their wives, but, I was unaware that they use the employee's to their advantage.
My buddy gets paid often to go into the stands and collect phone #'s for players! And, the NBA guys pay WELL.

Shaq is one of my buddies regulars, make sense that he is now getting a divorce or is divorced.

Also, some of those NBA guys CAN DRINK, my guy has made all sorts of money from making trips to the local ABC store in DC , they tip him for the trip AND for sneaking the liqor on the bus.

Jermain O'Neal paid him his whole stipend for him to buy a large amount of Patrone for him and secrete it onto the bus lol .

Also, he has told me of a few locker room incidents, he told me... little Nate Robinson, of the NY knicks, is a little pitbull dog!

Says Quentin Richardson became angry when some of the players for the knicks where heckling him while he was at the free throw line towards the end of a blowout loss.

On the way back to the locker room, Quentin informed the other players that the next time they did that, he would slap whoever makes comments.

Little nate took offense, and informed Quentin that he could slap him right now! Quentin mumble some words but backed down, my buddy had the feeling that it was common knowledge that Nate was not to be *****d with.

Then there is the Shawn Kemp story, apparently, there is a saying amongst the past teams he played for, Kemp was known for "Kemping" rookies.

"Kemping" was when Shawn Kemp snuck up behind a rookie and "Bless" them with his..... stuff.

My buddy also said he walked in on Elden Campbell once in the locker room as he was undressing after a pistons/wizards game.

He said Elden was sitting on a very low bench in the locker room, and his stuff was touching the floor lol .

I still cant believe that one, he said he didnt want to tell me about that one for obiouse reasons, but... he said he was in shock when he saw it and some of the other players were laughing at him until he snapped out of it.

Then there are the stories of the good the bad and the ugly.

He worked out with/for Chris Paul when he was working out for the draft, he told me, CP was one of the nicest down to earth guys he had ever met.

He once got into an altercation with Keven Garnett, he asked KG if he could sign a shirt after a game for a friend of his, KG was all smiles and yes man.

After the Wizards smashed the wolves, my buddy approaches KG about that autograph, KG flies into a rage and has to be restrained by the trainers, says KG was inches from his face screaming about "****ing autographs" , my buddy is NOT a fan of KG needless to say.

I could go on lol .....

Those are some cool stories mang. Thanks for sharing.

I am kinda surprised about th Garnett one though. Guy seems to be pretty honest and cool in interviews. Never know though, I guess.

I actually watched the Rockets/Celtics game last night. Was pretty impressed with the Rockets and how they held up against what most people say is the best in basketball right now. Might have been different if they had Yao back.

i dont get to watch many games on tv, unless they are mainstream. but i do see the stats they put up everynight and they are very even if not better then the other teams defense wise. and i agree pistons put up some great numbers. i was rootin for them too. but 25% of there points came from 3's, and denver had 1 less reboung then the pistons and 4 more steals. now im not rooting against my team but they put up decent defensive numbers

They give up 105 PPG, how is that good? That's 4th worst in the west, and 5th worst overall.

Probably because their opponents are out rebounding them. Of course they will have a higher total of rebounds because they take so many shots and allow their opposing team to take more shots, but they are usually out rebounded.

Ok, I will give you that in reguards to them taking a lot of shots, but they still have to get to the ball. Camby has always rebounded the ball well, wherever he has played.

I could care less really about Denver. It just shows you have to argue so many points for no reason really.

Denver is still having a good year, just they are stuck in the West, which anyone can win right now. Would be a shame to win 50 games and not make the playoffs.
