Boston is playing great basketball this year and should be getting as much attention as they are now, but as far as I'm concerned the team to beat in the east are the Pistons until proven wrong. Just my 2 cents

I don't care how good they are, they still are not better than Boston.

Also can't take 1 game just because the Pistons beat them to say they are better. If that is the case, then Cleveland is better than the Celtics too.

When it comes down too it though it will be between either the Celts or Pistons, but the Celtics given they stay healthy will be hard to beat in the playoffs.

Detroit is better defensively and has a deeper bench. Rasheed can play Garnett, Prince can play Pierce, and Hamilton can play Allen. Boston however has no answer for Billups. Add the fact Detroit can bring in Maxiell, Hayes, Stuckey, Afflalo etc. Detroit is only a couple games behind Boston and has played a tougher schedule then Boston.

Really, you probably base that off the 1 game they played. Like I said the Cavs beat them too, and when it is said and done, I betcha Boston comes out with a better record and advances further in the playoffs then Detriot.

Also Boston has House, Posey and Tony Allen who are pretty good on the Boston bench. So isn't like they don't have depth in that department. Also I could use your logic as well being Garnett can play Wallace, Pierce on Prince and Allen on Hamilton. Rondo plays excellent defense and will do fine with Billups, he just isn't a scorer like him, which he don't need to be. He still puts in close to 10pts a game though. Trust me, he does fine as my starter on my fanasty team.

As far as tougher schedule goes, that is funny! Your 11 game winning streak has happened because you have played the likes of Atlanta, GS, Boston, Memphis, Houston, NJ, IndyX2, Mil, Wash and Toronto.

Only 1 team in first another 2nd in their divison and the rest 3rd and down and only 3 of those teams have a winning record. Yeah you have had a tough schedule, lol!

Pistons have played more road games then Boston and their opponents have a higher win %.

Pistons bench leads Boston's in scoring, and all of Detroit's starting 5 minutes have been cut except for McDyess who wasn't a starter last year.

Also you would say the samething about anyone lining up against Billups. Your a homer, that is what you do. I watched some of the game, but not the whole game, but Rondo did play well from what I did see. Rondo put up decent numbers in that game, better than Pierce, who needs to step up in big games.

Sorry pwning on one play, that I didn't see nor hear about don't mean he can't hang with him.

Also I remember Billups had a lot of points, but a lot of them were from foul shots. He was like 7-17 or something like that from the field. I don't feel like looking it up, but I was close to that. Rondo forced some bad shots on him.

No, I just think he is a decent point guard. I never said he was a top 5 or even better than Billups, quote me where I said that numbnutz!

I don't have a favorite player in the NBA anymore. That went out a while ago when Chris Mullin retired along with Dan Majerle and Mark Price.

Also I love how you twist about Billups matching up with other guards better, when I said nothing but Rondo can hang with him for a game. Putting up numbers overall at season end will go to Billups, no duh!

I am glad he is on our team as we wouldn't survive with out him, however I don't get all caught up in him either.

If he goes, he goes. I used to be all for him, but his actions have spoken as loud as his big mouth. He has started to act like he is the all there is too his team, which is bad for the club house and needs to just play ball. He used to lead this team, granted his numbers are better than ever, but he isn't leading this team like he used too.

He might just go to another team sooner than later. Oh well, shit happens.
