**Official NBA thread**

Lebron looked good the other night, but his first game he looked like shit! I mean 10 pts, WTF!

I personally think that it will be Boston, but I will pull for Cleveland as always. Just with Garnett, Allen and Pierce with a couple decent reserves in House and Posey, they will be hard to beat.

I also like the Suns out of the West, but they run to much and make really, really stupid mistakes. That game the other night against the Lakers was nutz. I mean I forget how many turnovers Nash had, but it was unreal. I know it's the beginning of the season, but that is uncalled for.

I think it will be Boston vs Spurs.

But Quest can still **** a dick! Something he is quite good at. Just ask Timmy and the rest of the roster.

hey the big fella took an $11M pay cut...says alot for a team on their way to a 5th ring. we picked up darius washington near the bare minimum and he is looking like a good acquisition. he still needs to calm down a bit, but he has 79 games to learn the system. matt bonner and oberto looks pretty confident in their roles and oduka looks very promising. seems he fit right on in coming from portland as their only real defensive minded team player. would like to see more of Ian's performance before i judge him, but he seems like a good fit and they all picked up on the system pretty easily.

Where are all the NBA fans at? There has to be more than me, Icetee and fegsticks!

Boston is still undefeatd! Still think they are taking it all this year.

I finally got into the Yahoo fanasty league and my team rocks! Hopefully I do well.

Go Cavs! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

That would be a dumb *** trade! Pistons would go from contending to the basement with Kobe! Look when Shaq left how the Lakers did, lol!

Wouldn't you be pissed teabag? I mean would you really want Kobe on your team? He is like Alex Rodriguez in baseball if you ask me. Thing is Alex gets in the playoffs more, lol!

Also Stephan Marbury is a viris in this league. He is such an imbecile!
he has made my official "i cant believe he makes 21 million a season and if he had any sense of honor he should return 2/3 of it back" team. he has 0 reason to be in the nba..sure he can score but he is a point guard....when he plays nothing works right and he plays crappy defense.

Kobe has 3 rings //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
Rasheed, Billups, McDyess are better then what he has in Los Angeles. Rasheed and McDyess can spread the floor creating room for Kobe and better shooters for kick outs. Kobe is also a good defender and the Pistons would still be able to employ their defense.
Kobe is a loser meaning he can't win without Shaq. Yeah he has had a couple good seasons, but he knows he can't do shit in LA with out another superstar. Shaq was the heart and sole of the Lakers in those days. For instance Shaq left and he had another superstar in Wade and look who won more championships.

Kobe can't win the big one where he is at and has a lot to do why he don't want to be in LA anymore.

I would rather have my team that is winning like Detriot is than have a disease like Kobe come in.

Detroit has better players to surround him then what he has in Los Angeles. Detroit at least has a capable PG. They also have big men who can shoot which will spread the floor and give Kobe lanes to drive, and he'll have players he can trust to kick the ball out to.
Plus the Pistons are getting older and their window is closing. The past few seasons they have had meltdowns in the playoffs, and they need something to shake the team up. Kobe is only under contract for two years, so you aren't making a huge commitment.
You would want a superstar player with the ego of Kobe on your team? The whole franchise is sick of him and his own players can't stand him. I remember the one game the announcers saying well his team don't even talk to him before or after games, but of course they will pass the ball to him, someone has to score, lol!

I would rather have my team stick togehter, get along and have a better team attitude. Those are winning ways. He is nothing but a disease over there and I used to like the lakers back in the day, but I can't stand Kobe!

wat about the fact he just left the team because Thomas said he would have to come off the bench? He destroys teams and is not worth 21 mil. I don't see how the Knicks can even justify keeping him that long and for that kind of money.

I think he's up after the end of next season.

He's horrible. The Knicks are such a joke, and it starts with the ownership. James Dolan is such an imbecile, only he would hire Thomas, side with him over Larry Brown, and stand behind him, even after he's found guilty of ****** harassment on a former employee.

Isiah Thomas doesn't deserve to be loosely affiliated to a high school basketball program, nevermind the NBA.
