**Official NBA thread**

He's also older then his Portland days. He's 33 or 34 now. He is in the downside of his career. In his prime he could have been a top 5 PF. I don't know where you get over powered from //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
33 with plenty of time left on his legs. He will play another 3-5 years depeding IMO.

Sorry a top 5 PF would have put up a lot bette numbers. He isn't your true PF. Guy likes to shoot the ball to much from the 3. He is good at that, but not something he should be focusing on, which he seems to do quite a bit. Guy has never once hit 20.0 ppg in a season, his Rbds are low being he is a tall guy. Yeah he can post up, but I have seen him get bullied around plenty of times. He isn't that strong to be honest. He is more a shooter than anything else, hence the reason he shoots so much. He is a decent player, nothing more, nothing less. Won't be a hall of famer, nor remembered much besides his trash mouth.

Let's not overstate Rasheed's significance: he is no perennial all-star by a long shot. However, he does provide secondary and tertiary scoring, gets on the defensive glass, is a relatively good low-post defender, and his range forces a lot of big men to take a step or two away from the paint.

He's not a Tim Duncan or Shaq type-player that you have to design an entire gameplan around in the playoffs, but he does add another dimension that a lot of teams can use. If he keeps his mouth shut and stays focused, he is a good starter (or at the very least, a great 6th man) on pretty much every team in the NBA.

Perfect!

His problem is, he never wanted to be a Duncan. He is content being the 3rd or 4th option. He had the physical ability to be a Tim Duncan in Portland. The whole point of this conversation was that Rasheed was supposedly the reason the Pistons have lost every playoff series which is ridiculous.
show me where i said that? i said he was a head case which HE IS. WHEN THEY LOSE since 04 in the playoffs it is an upset and when you watch his reactions (especially against miami) he didnt act too professional. rather than digging down and try harder he gives up and starts throwing a fit:laugh:

What in the hell are you talking about? The only time that happened was last year in Cleveland and he had a legitimate case when he got tossed.
NO it is not the ONLY time he has done that. when things dont go his way he cries. totally takes himself out of the game.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif happened against miami, happened in the 4th quarter in game 7 against SA happened xxxxx times in portland. im not talking about just ejections and tech fouls im talking about watching his reactions and his *****ing.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

It didn't happen in game 7 against San Antonio. Rasheed usually plays well after he gets a tech. When he gets a chip on his shoulder, he finally gets motivated and goes to the post.
he *****ED that whole quarter when SA caught up. he also blows plays in crunch time. i cant remember which player he missed was either manu or horry on a switch and they made an important WIDE OPEN 3 and just previous to that play wallace was cryng LOL it was his man that he was to guard on the switch he never guarded them. he ran too the basket for a rebound LOL

I am just amazed about how much Rasheed's dick is being sucked.... yes he does add another dimension for a big man, but is he far from dominate....and if it wasnt for his mouth he wouldnt hardly be talked about....hes just a real loud mouth baby who cries when he doesnt get his way

and as far as being content with being the 3rd or 4th option if you have this supposed "talent" is a damn waste....

a prime example is Okur for the Jazz is a much better 3 shooter than Sheed IMO and plays just as good of defense, but doesnt get the hype Sheed does bc he goes out does his job, and isnt a loud mouthed bastard about it

Okur is not as good of a post player as Rasheed and not as good defensively. Okur is a better shooter and is better off the dribble then Rasheed.
and I know this...so they are both equally talented, just in different fields...... just going to show you that Okur doesnt get the hype Sheed does for the simple fact that he just plays basketball, and isnt a loud mouthed guy

since when do you trap in that situation? Who in there right mind would leave big shot bob wide the hell open with time running down? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif people razed about that play and it was a total fook up i dont care who says differently. you do not double team or trap leaving a SHOOTER wide open in the closing seconds of a game. 2 points dont beat you in that situation but a 3 did.

Who cares anyway. It is our opinion about him. I don't like him because he is a cry baby and if you can't see that, then it is because you are a Sheed fan. He is loud mouthed and albeit, he has quieted down over the years, but he still cries about shit. Look at last year in the Cleveland series. I just hate players that talk smack and cry over shit. Man up and let your talent do the talking, simple as that.
