if you are looking for some mad sick bass lines in a metal song you need to download the song by Whitechapel called The Somatic Defilement.

its really death metal but the way it was produced gives it sooo much bass. i have to turn my bass settings way down when i listen to that cd. its ridiculous.

Apocalyptica if you want some low, long bass. Cellos get low and clean. Having Slayer's drummer on board is a nice touch too.
