shit i have a 55 miles of lake to fish on springy lol. not really wanting to catch much just testing it out. there not on poles there just trout lines i threw in thursday night

ya channel catfish are what i go after in clearlake and around here in ponds. biggest one i caught was a 15 pounder that my dad caught at clear lake then he put it in my friends pond and i caught it! those things are ugly *** hell, but i heard they taste great. i also like gettin little baby fishing poles and puttin pieces of bread on the end and catching perch. those little bastards fight like hell, and they make good catfish bait if you cut em up.

i fish the mississippi river in MN and we use topwatters and cast jigs mostly, we get alot of monster smallies, and some northern walleye and catfish, but we mainly focus on bass, we catch 20-30 a day and at least 3 speacies of fish, between me and my dad, cant beat the river, my biggest bass is 22 inches, forget the weight but not many of got that out of MN smallmouth wise...

thats a pretty nice small mouth.also id like to catch a walleye, i hear they are a great fight

i love fishing, but havent gone in a LONG *** time. where my grandpa lives, theres an awesome place where u can get just a shitload of walleye..FTW. anyone ever been to gavins point dam?

have you ever tried fly fishing for trout? you also can learn to tie your own flies and save some money pretty fun and rewarding hobbie. yeah the stripper season should be starting here in florida pretty soon, ive gotta go up to the dam and check it out.

i used to fish every day. ten i started working and havent really been in about 5 yrs now. around where i grew up there are alot of ponds that we fish at. we caught a 11lb largmouth out of one of them, we've also caugt a few 10lb mud cats and channel cats. i remember one night we were fishing and it must have been the perfect time because we caught abotu 20 2-3lb channel cats.

ive always wanted to try that, but fly rods are way more expensive than normal rods, and i dont have any one to teach me so i guess that'll have to wait.

My friends and I went fishing at least 4 times a week last summer for the whole summer. We have a bunch of spots down here. Nothing serious, just bass mostly. It is great on a summer evening to grab some beers, and go relax by the lake and pull a few in!
