I used 1/0 awg from KnuKonceptz. I do have 14.5 ish volts running accross the poles on the battery, and it only drops about 1 v when it hits.... but it does result in dimming. Come to think of it, the lights dim ever so slightly, for a split second when I use the power windows too (without the stereo on). Do you know if Partsource does free electrical system checkups?

i get the same thing with the power windows and the dimming. I thought we had the same cars, but we don't. I have a 98 Lumina LTZ. Is that normal? If you find out let me know!

Just to be clear. For the engine block to chasis, can that be engine block to negative terminal on batt?

Yeah, that would be fine. Unless the alt make more power at higher RPM's.

Just run two lines from the alt to the batteries and one from each of the negatives to a common spot. It would actually only be the Big 5 in your case.
