Because no one ever usually does. The Celtics looked unstoppable last year and they slumped in the playoffs. I mean they couldn't win on the road. Remember? It wasn't because they were a bad road team either.
I hope they do and you're right. As of now the Cavs look more focused on the prize. I have NO choice but to admit that. But the Celtics are the champs until they're officially eliminated from the playoffs which I don't see happening regardless of Lebron. I really think the Celtics will be a MAD, PROUD and DETERMINED team come playoff time. As for experts I could care less what they think. I remember back in '04 they all wrote off the Detroit Pistons when they were down 3-2 to the Heat but Detroit beat them 2 straight. Then they all said the Lakers would kill them in the Finals. And we all know what happened after that. I guess it is sort of opposite of last year. Last year everyone was on the Celtics bandwagon. Now that they won a championship everyone seems to be on the ANTI Celtics bandwagon. Weird but true.
Either way, I wasn't trying to be an *** with ya. Just trying to stir up some friendly debate. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
BTW, what was up with them losing to the Bulls tonight? Oh well, the Celtics lost to the Warriors and Blazers a while ago so I guess I can't talk. Never the less, a 3 way tie for the top spot in the east.
I know it is friendly banter, no biggie. I am happy for the Celts as I like to see them do well, hell I am 85% irish, lol!
Just think this year is going to be different. Cavs are a lot different this year, I don't care what anyone says. We should have had the Bulls game buy the way, but oh well, shit happens! Now we are down with two of our starters on IR and West is having his career year, so it is a huge loss, but when Z got hurt, Anderson stepped up and has played well, now it is up to Sasha Pavlovic and Daniel Gibson's time to shine and we should have Big Z back to action next week. Thing is our bench is stepping up big time, which IMO is huge in doing well in this league. Spurs have done it for years and this year our bench is one of the best, which is surprising, but glad they are playing to their potential.
We shut Paul down last night for the most part. We played small and it worked out perfect for us. Good job of coaching last night.
As far as the Pistons go, don't care, that was how many years ago? I know what you are getting at, just don't care. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Indeed he is. Should be up for MIP for sure, even though Harris has that down for the most part.
And lol at you guys losing to Orlando again.........at home!
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Orlando is for real though. Have mucho talent! I think they are becoming a bigger threat than the Celts this year.
All I know is that it's nice to see the Lakers lose 2 in a row.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Indeer it is, what is even better is seeing Detriot lose 4 games in a row to sub .500 teams and hell, even the worse team in the league, lol! D has no chemistry and told Ice that a while ago and is apparent. I hope he replys to that.
read the sig my friend, read the sig...
i heard and read all the, "the king" is gonna bring the pain BS and then shut them the hell up.
You guys are coming together, but like you said, when you are hot, you are hot. When you are not, you are not. You were hot against us in the finals and the Cavs stunk it up. Will be different this year..........if you guys make it that far. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
In a way, I hope you do. Would love to have a rematch to prove we are much better this time.
