Well Darko has more rings than Lebron, Carmelo, and Bosh combined, so I'm not feeling too bad about it. Ben Gordon is an upgrade over Hamilton. Lebron, Wade and the rest of the 2010 class was not coming to Detroit. I fully believe there is a trade coming.
I would love to see Ariza in a Cleveland uniy, but not Artest and his cocky *** attitude......granted he has calmed down for a couple of years, but have a feeling he may be coming to Cleveland if he takes around 5 million a year, so we shall see.

Hamilton hasn't been traded nor is it even definite he will be. You obviously didn't watch any Pistons games, or read any Pistons news. Hamilton essentially quit on his team. He even said he wouldn't have signed an extension if he knew Billups was traded. He then sulked about it, got mad when he was benched in favor of Iverson, and refused to speak to the coach. All this douchebaggotry seemed to happen overnight. Gordon is a better creator and better outside shooter. He is also younger. Hamilton needs a good PG. He should only have a basketball in his hands when he is ready to shoot. His ball skills were awful. Billups and Hamilton had such a good chemistry and Billups always created offense for Hamilton. Hamilton is also not that much better of a defender. He played well with Billups because he could switch off on the quicker player and Billups play the bigger player. Gordon was better than Hamilton in just about every statistical category.
So he was like Jack Haley with the Bulls and Lakers only he was a lottery pick. I think they had a legit shot at Bosh or maybe Amare. But unless they are changing their philosophy to be a no defense/run and gun offense, Gordon was a bad deal. Then this punk comes out and said the Bulls never made him an offer. He rejected pretty much the same deal last season thinking he was gonna get a max deal. Like I said, I'm glad he's gone. Now hopefully they can deal Deng and Thomas. I'd like to see Oden and Rose develop in the same organization.

You act like Hamilton was a top level defender. Where they lost defensively was replacing Rasheed with Villanueva. They still have Hamilton and Prince who they are actively shopping.
So I guess it is safe to say that you don't think Stuckey will turn into a good point guard? Because that is what you said when Billups left as I defended Billups and told you that you guys wouldn't be the same without him.....of course you would forget that.
He was a solid enough defender i felt. And he is 6 foot 7 right? And he did know how to get open. Any way you look at it, Gordon is undersized and even more of a defensive liability. You right, I think he took the Billups trade too hard. But wasn't it him that re-signed on the premise that they were keeping Chauncey?
