duncan did take a $4m pay cut to free up cap space for the team in the future, i cannot name or immediately think of any other players that would do that for the betterment of the team. i hear manu and parker may do the same and take $2M less on their renewals in order to clear cap for 2010. maybe lebron in SA? less market, but more rings. i would actually like to make a push for Bosh instead.

Not only that, but the Pistons had a lead at the end of the third in game 7 on San Antonio's floor, after the Pistons had won game 6 on their court. The Pistons also nearly pulled out game 5 in Detroit that needed overtime. Better examples of steamrolls would be all the years the Spurs have been pwnd by the Lakers in the playoffs, like last year's WCF. I give the Spurs credit for at least making it out of the 2nd round since they struggle with defending their title.
