offered a new job this summer..should i do it?

Whats the future in it?
Where does he plan on being in 10 years?
I honestly do not know. I don't talk to him much anymore, only when he is back home for a little while.

He isn't much of a planner though, I doubt he is saving much of it.

Well, look at it this way.

In our parent's generation if you had a high school diploma you did well.

In the current job market without at least some degree post secondary you have a hard time finding a job that you can work into you 60's doing.

In the job market of the future a 4 year university degree will be so common you will have to have something to differentiate yourself ( graduate degree etc ) in order to get a mediocre job.

i call bullshit. not at 17 AND without a degree. why would they hire some young uneducated punk at 40K when they can get a college grad for the same price and not be breaking the law?? oh yeah, you can't do that kind of work until you are at least 18. and the only way you can graduate early is if you already have all the credits you need. and unless you planned ahead for this very possibility you don't have those credits. just go cut you wrists and make the world a better place. remember it's up the road not across the street. 32 credits? wtf
I needed 120 to graduate:crap:
120 credits for highschool...

impossible..

we are on block scheduling. where 1 class = either 1 or 2 credits.

unless its an elective and those are only worth 1/2 credit

oh, and for my school i only need 30 to graduate, so im past due..lol.
