I haven't had a heater in two years. My blower doesn't work either... so even if I got the heat working, it still wouldn't get hot in my car.

That sucks.. at least it didn't shred off the wheel and damage the car.

If I had a blow out, I can almost guarantee my fenders and/or bumper would be done for.

look at it this way, you could have lost control, crashed, and died.
