I think what OP seeks is if an eq setting can imitate what an order box does.

Yeah I’m a little bit confused regarding this.

I was told with the head unit can create a curve exactly like bandpass enclosures without a bandpass?!

I really like 4th order bandpass and still have 8th order designs to build.

But if I can get an expensive head unit and work with a ported bass reflex I’m asking what is the difference???

A bandpass crossover is not the same thing as a bandpass enclosure. A bandpass crossover is just a combination of a low pass and high pass crossover. I use a bandpass crossover on my midbass speakers from 80-300 HZ and another bandpass crossover on my midrange speakers from 300-6000 HZ.

What I think ChatGTP is assuming is that the subwoofer plays flat across the board. That would make it easier for a DSP to emulate an order box.
