Octane-ZR 12D2 vs IDQ12 D2 v.2

I have a Kenwood 9102d amp, 500w rms @ 4ohms, 850w rms @ 2 ohms, 1 ohm stable (so they say)

Right now I am running a Alpine Type-R 1241d @ 2ohms, rms power of 300w

So with my amp I have room for improvement...

I was looking at getting dual 12"s... and was comparing those two afformentioned subs

OR

Would (1) 12" of the PG Xenon X12D4 be just as loud/same quality?

(i want SQ and loudness!)

Any other suggesstions in the same price range?

dont know about the IDQ but i have a xenon 12 and it likes a lot of power. if you are running a single you probly have enough power....mine is real deep, and shakes everything inside my truck and it doesnt seem to get extremely loud....its in a probox for my chevy xcab w/ a x600.1. a pair of image dynamics or a pair of the zrs would be louder, itd be close on power for the zrs. they can take a lot of wattage. the xenon and the id should have better sound quality over the zrs.

The zrs have great sq. Give them a shot u wont be dissapointed.

They can get loud as hell 2. $75 on ebay for them.

The xenon subs can handle a little more power, but like stated above the zrs would flat out beat the xenons with ease overall loudness. Ide go with them. They have good sq and can get loud. The zrs are very efficent, so it takes minimal power to get them extreemly loud.
