thread title states: obama wants to block out the sun with pollution. the only reference to obama in that article was the fact that the person they were talking about is obamas science adviser. no where did it state obamas opinions on the matter.

You're an idiot.

As pointed out, Obama didn't say anything, a member of his administration did.

Second, "wants" implies that it was at Obama's request or at the very least is the leading method they are investigating. Yet, oddly you failed to include the sentence directly following your quote; "Holdren said such an experimental measure would only be used as a last resort. "

Third, you overlook the fact that he also states it "could have grave side effects and would not completely solve all the problems from soaring greenhouse gas emissions." Thus, they are not idiots and are not overlooking the shortfalls, pros and cons of this and every other method.

Standard political nonsense. Put words into someone else's mouth, take quotes out of context and misrepresent them.
