Nuebie news a little help!

Ok, first post(but I'm not new to car audio) I cant seem to get a good re from other forums. but here go's.

Is the Pie 880 really better sounding that the 980? I'd like to hear from some folks the have owned the 880 than moved to a 980.

I know the 880 has duel 16's but I've never felt the need to to change my eq from left/right with my 860. With my 860, I set up the mic, shoot in the car and all sounds great!

Using Boston Pro(front rear and sub) and Crossfire amps. Also my 860 just cr*ped out AFTER 3 GOOD YEARS!

The 880 is a much more flexible deck. As fas as "sounding better", it's all in the listener's ears.

Thanks but whats more flexible about the 880? As in, what will it do the the 980 can not?
