I built the box you guys recommended for my two 12" Type R's, which is 5 cubes at 32 hz. I have all the pieces put together...now all I need to do is cut out the circles for the subs and some openings for wiring, right? Is it true that I need a piece of wood to separate the two subs inside?

no you do not need a divider (board to sperate them). so yeah all you have to do is cut out the circles for the subs and for the wire. you could, however, run your wires through your port to your speakers and then to your amp and that will make it so you dont have to make other cutouts, but it is totally up to you. but just make your speaker cutouts and wire them and your good

yep or run the wires thru the port,or drill a hole in the back and seal it up with chaulk.

he said that you would drill a hole through your box, and then run your wires through the hole, and once they are set, caulk the hole so they dont move, and so no air leaks out

the port is designed to have air go out, the hole you drill isn't.
