No, I didn't send him the specs except for the fact that I told him the tuning. He gave me dimensions and it was an interesting design, but well worth it. Glad you liked it.

Mr. Bang, the reason for the side firing port was because he had an amp rack or something that covered up certain parts of the box and he still wanted it ported.

Hofwte, that's the reason exactly. Unless they want to know it, I don't usually send it over. Reason being, most people want a good design without any excess.

I think the specs should be provided even if they didn't request them. that way, they dont' sound like retard when someone asks them.

Well from my point of view, all I wanted is the wang.. the specs are not important for me anyway.

PV probably provided the tunning and i'm just way to dumb to realize what one earth he was talking about lol . I think it was 28hz but don't quote me on that because I could be as wrong as a bat without sonar...

I will post some pics because we did get the thing carpeted, although I think i'm going to take the carpeting to the next level and actually get the box done in a leather or suade with the Mercedes emblem embroidered next to the subs.

JB, I disagree. I honestly believe the only specs that would need to be told are the cubic feet and the tuning...both of which I told him. I doubt that someone would be like:

"Yo man, sweet box. How's the Qtc on that mother?"

If the customer wants them, I give them. It takes no time at all to send them, but why even make it more confusing for them if they don't want it?

IIRC (my comptuer has a new harddrive because when I went to get the CPU fan changed, they didn't have it hooked up to a strip and it fried the comp), it's 2 cubes at 33hz.

Man, it's great I mean these things barely hit a note, just some ultra low bass frequencies with the old box. This new one has a nice scale and hits lots of notes top to bottom. It's really something else from what I had before. I put the system on yesterday and I got a headack but I love it!
