This thread is pretty funny. I lke the rims with the lights and the designs. I agree with most people on here that if your rims raise the ride height of you vehicle then you should not put them on. I think it just looks dumb for an impala to ride 9 inches off the ground. I don't mind spinners as long as its not the spinning hubcaps. LMFAO just thinking about spinning hubcaps. But I do like the lighted ones. I used to have a toy that was kinda similar that you could program to read stuff when you spin it. It was a rave toy from back when I used to be into that stuff. These rims just remind me a little of how much fun that used to be.

Have you ever BEEN to Germany? They ride on 19/20s on audi TTs, and VW GTI's all the time.
I spent 6 months in Stuttgart. They have big wheels. Just don't have BIG cars.

And for the record. Your chances of seeing anyone pass 100MILESperhour on ANY part of the autobahn are slim and none, so there is no 'keeping up'

Unlike popular belief, they DO have speedlimits on the autobahn in cities and towns. Out in the country, you MIGHT see a GTI with work doing 100+.

As a matter of fact, yes I have been to Germany. When you fly for a living you get to go to a lot of places. And the 19's and 20's weren't the ones I'm bashing on. Especially since a lot of cars come with them from the factory. It's the morons who put the 22's and up on a car that I'm bashing on. And I know the autobahn has speed limits when it goes through populated areas. And I HAVE gone well over 100MPH on the autobahn in a 911. So get down off your high horse and please place your foot in your mouth.

its a euro thing to have big chrome wheels on vw's etc over there. you wont see that At all here in the states.

iv been on the autobahn, and a good amount of the cars go well over 100. and yes gti's too.

Not true. You DO see a LOT of the 'euro-style' over here. And it's starting to catch on.

I can't leave my neighborhood without seeing a passat wagon slammed on porsche turbo twists and Audi A4 handles, and nice of other classy add ons.

I have a neighbor RIGHT NOW, who has a 98 GTI on chrome monoblocks from a benz.

There is also a guy that works with me that has a 02 Golf on Audi TT polished 5 spokes. Full rieger lip kit, and a TT dash swap as well.

And yes, you DO see cars do 100+ mph, but it's not like some would have you believe, it's not like Lambo's fly through city limits at 200+ mph, daily.

I'm a big fan of the clean, euro look. Eyebrows, badgeless grill, big boost, WIDE wheels, and pulled wheel wells, and a full cage.

The door, and paint is a little too much for me... but LOOK at those tires in the rear!

20" Lexani wheels on a GTI... not so 'euro-style'... but larger wheels on a smaller car.

WIDE small wheels. Your typical styling for a 'euro'
