now i can't decide

all hand built here in ameica with top of the line parts. dd has the 3518 rated at 1200 rms and the audique is rated at 1000. i know they are both good but i would like some opinions.

i heard audioque is built in the same build house as dd and i was consiering 4 sd2 8s but i wanted the dd name so i bought 4 dd 1508s little more expensive but i think the build quality is about the same

true, but the new hdc3 are built in china. i believe they are still very good. so i don't know i'm curious as to why they rated at lower rms than the 3500 series. maybe dj will clear this up.

many people were giving the last gen HD3 2500rms, some even daily //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif i don't recall if this was made in the us or not tho...

but ultimately, i say screw the china bs, as long as it performs as it says it should, and it's owner stands behind it's product with great cs, thats all that matters...

The "C" in HDC3 denotes CHINA. The HD3 was hand built in our facility at OKC with mostly American parts; that's why it was more expensive.

Final assembly and power testing of the HDC3 is done in our OKC facility. I rate the HDC3 the same as the HD3.... for the worst case enduser abuse.

lol, i would have thought it stood for "competition" but that is a strange way of marketing your product...

anyways, i think if it's consistancy and performance stands up to the old hd3, this thing should be a hit...

Well parts in the standard sub are all from China....truth in advertising. Actually that's not quite the truth I buy the logos from SPL140.
