But Ive been dead set on purchasing a 15" Zcon for my gmc jimmy (1 15 because of space restraints) but I've been looking around a lil and I see the TC LMS ultra 5400 18" likes a small enclosure. The goal with the system is an accurate daily driver with good sq and a lot of output. My question is, is the LMS worth the give or take $500 extra bucks?? My sub amp is kicker zx2500 by the way.

Didn't you make a topic asking about having an 18 and everybody said you didn't have room?

Just go with the 15.

You only have 5 cubes

Edit just looked again, you said you had 5 cubes before displacement, definitely just stick with the 15 or go with a pair of 12s. Two 12s is almost as much cone area as an 18.

He has 5 cubes before displacements to work with.

I can use half of my hatch area. The biggest the box can be is 20H 20L 26D. But it will have an external Octoport.

That amp's not stable at 1 ohm right? You'd have to get D1 or D4 coils (D4 parallel would be louder though).

They only make the Zcon in D1 or D2, so he would have to get the D1 version.

Doesn't HAVE to be a zcon but it has to be something that's gonna be musical. I've been debating between, aa mayhem, death penalty, zcon, Zv3, btl. The zcon sounds like it'd work better for what I want to accomplish.

That's external. But I wanna do an octo because I want to have a daily port and an spl port that I can swap out to compete with.

SP4 should be included in that group as well.

DP, Mayhem, and btl n2 are more about being loud than sounding good. The ZCON, Z V.3, and SP4 would suit you better. So, might as well stick with the ZCON 15" D1 coils.

Yeah if that was external dims, then I calculated 5.41cbft internal dims before all displacement. Sub and port displacement would drop it down to 4 something.

EDIT: You could also invert the sub...
