So I know from first hand experience that my subs facing back as close to the back as possible is the loudest. I have 2 alum12s in seperate sealed boxes on around 1000 rms and have played with them and it is the loudest that way at 51 hz. I have a 2000 alero 4 door and was thinking about doing a trunk wall but when I fire my subs into the cabin I do not get the sp I want oh yeah I am doing my first build for a comp and I am meticulous and plan everything then build. So I was wondering WHY its louder when I fire my subs back? And would a trunk wall work in this type of set up? I know my equipment is gonna matter also but I am looking into that as well. If I could get 2 heavyweight 15s from someone on here that would be great! Also being a 4dr it is longer will I lose spl because of that?

No if u wall right from behind the drivers seat you will not lose spl....u are directly firing into the front seats and if u seal the whole wall from the rear of the car you will again not lose spl
