not excluding the rest of Michigan but 3-4 hrs seems to be too much...lol
We in Oscoda have been kicking around the idea of a Car Audio Club/Team to keep all of us in touch with each other. Since we are way to scattered up this way.

We just have to get with people in our community to start up a sponsorship and such. We'd like to have monthly dues and the whole nine but we also want to keep it general and fun. Right off hand we seem to have a good idea of what the money goes for so that no one is getting rich such as...the team pot.

We'd like to keep it as hanging out but for our idea to work we as a team will need coin. Everyone pays into the pot a month which gets materials to get a certain member/teammates in a certain category to a show, apparel, and get this a Clubhouse.

We thought of offering up our install bay for members only also. Access to all the tools, the TL, and whatever you would need it for. This could be on the weekends or during the week but we would need patience and understanding to control that. Every member would get 1 week out of the year in the bay if they need it to work their build and have teammates on hand to help.

Its a forum and I don't want to keep dragging this on but we are also interested in our shop carrying some stuff so we need opinions.

Well its time for a meeting with the boss today....MOM.

See what we can do to get this team off the ground. I'm working hard at it fellas.

What I'm thinking is $75 buy in and 20 bucks a month to cover the "clubhouse" but with this rate we have a lot less to offer. Whatever makes the team take off right?

The buy in will go towards the shirts and sticker packs. Gonna see how much Hoodies are since we get that cold stuff and see if we can pull that off.

Well not as good as it could of been. Looks like I got another little hurdle to jump. We have 1 person saying nay on the board...lol

The idea isn't dead though. There are about 10 of us in our area that are gonna pursue the team idea. The clubhouse is the only factor thus far.

Subject to change though. I actually will look around for a place to rent as we go if it doesn't work out.

Oscoda on the Old BASE there is some nice shops that you can rent out there CHEAP. The yakee musum pays $1 ayear for there builing. you just have to tell them that it will bring people to the area.
