I was thinking about moving to Raleigh in Feb 07. I heard the crime rate went up like 40% in the last couple years. I dont want to leave this wild *** place to go to another one. Do I need an AK-47 to live in Raleigh?

If I were to live anywhere, it would be in Greensboro near the airport.

not very crowded, especially once you get into the summerfield area, and its really nice. Also a lot of good shopping areas.
