South of Winston, about 1 hour west of Charlotte, 45 mins west of Gastonia, 15 minutes eat of Forest City/Rutherford County, about 20 north of the SC line.
Oh and 74 runs right through the middle of Shelby.

Cool I looked it up on mapquest. We should get a North Carolina CA.com meet together

I think there is a meet held at Shady Side dragway in Boiling Springs (5 minutes from Shelby) twice each year for MECA.

Not next year...

Because MECA in NC (and everywhere else on the East Coast save SBN) is basically dead...I'd be very surprised if that show happens again.

Might be kinda hard anyway till after the first of the year. With Thanksgiving and X-mas coming up not to many people would be able to participate. I would say maybe Feb. or March be a good time
