North Carolina Tornado survivor

Survivable with wool garments, comfy with a good stove and nice woodpile. Hope you live in a concrete bunker if you live in twister country.
well my house is 65 years old no flood, hurricane or tornado took it out yet so........ much more worried about termites.. don't like 95 degree days all summer but i can't stand to much below 50 i freeze and i have oversized heat pump, gas logs, wood stove and kerosene heater..

I survived an F3 in 2012, had 21 trees in my back yard prior to the storm, when it was all over, only one left standing. My son and I were out of the house for over 2 months because of repairs. $72,000 in damage, with $23,000 just for tree removal.

Anyone says they wanna move south come work in southern la for one summer. Lol Typically it 93 with 70+% humidity. On hot days the heat index is 125 to 130 depends on the humidity.
The older I've gotten the more I like the heat. I can't stand the cold anymore. It chills me to the bone. Heat just doesn't bother me much anymore.

Lights back on!

Woo hoo.

No internet though.

Neighborhood is rekt.

I got 2 seconds of video of the tornado 400 yards right in front of me, headed my way fast.

Can't upload from phone.

Gotta wait till internet back up
