audio quality won't be as good. nothing wrong with it. plus LOCs usually **** as opposed to pre-out voltages on aftermarket hus.

LOCs= Line Out Converters. for high-level inputs to amplifiers using a stock hu.

 

[tRiGgEr 5,000+ posts]

Like everything. A factory HU will only have BASS/TREBLE/MID control. A after market HU will have more settings.

stock decks just dont have enough output voltage. my brother wanted to run one in his expo to keep the stock in dash 6 cd changer. we changed the deck about an hour after the install/tuning was done.
