noob question

Hey guys, I have a quick question. I have a S-10 extended cab and about to put a system in. Everything is set except for the sub choice. I'm having a custom enclosure built where the fold down seat is, anyway with the air space avalable I can use either a ported 10", or a 12" sealed. I'm leaning toward more SQ but at the same time I would like to have decent SPL. Any sugestions would be apreciated.

Can't go wrong with Alpine type R's, or Boston G2's great bang and SQ.

Have you used the G2's, and what sub could you compare it too in terms of spl, and sq? Example compared to a comp vr, type r, mtx 5500 or anything else. I just want to get an idea of the driver.

Thanks for the replies. I allready have 4 Mmats P2.5 10" subs from a privious system. Just wondering if the P2.5 12" sealed would be better. the enclosure ranges for the P2.5 10 is 0.5-0.8 sealed and .8-1.30 ported and for the P2.5 12" is 0.7-1.15 sealed and 1.25-1.75 cuft ported. Also I'm going to be using a Mmats LM2125 to run the subs.
