when you run a 4 channel amy do u need different rca's than you would use with a 1 or 2 channel amp

you dont need different ones but you need two sets, most 4 channel amps, if not all, have rca outputs for the first 2 channels, and a seperate output for the last 2.

If you want fader control use two sets. If you dont care about it you can use Y splitters.

for the end going into the head unit is would one go to front and on go to back
