How should i hook my 12's up to my mono amp ? the 12's are daul 2 ohm, and my amp is 2 ohm stable, can someone help me out with this, and how much easier will it be to work with 12ga wire vs 10ga wire ? should i mess around with terminals or just cut small holes in the box, and feed the wire throught and then caulk around the box ?

well after two light rips and a few different tries of putting the wires in the amp in the right order, we got them to make noise //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif ill get some pics in a little bit for you guys

Not trying to jack your thread, but it's not letting me post my own and figured this was somewhat relative, haha:

I have two quick questions. What's the smallest gauge wire I can get away with for my 15" Brahma (terminal to 1st +/- then to 2nd +/-). Second, should it just be one wire run from the terminal, through the first positives and negatives to the second set, or should it be one wire from the terminal to the first set, then another wire from the 1st to 2nd set? Thanks for any info.

you asking about power wires or speaker wires? cause I wouldnt use thinner than 8ga on power wires for a sub amp but 12ga is fine for speaker wire.

That thread doesn't help at all. I know how to wire it, besides the questions I asked.

And I think he was talking about speaker wire. All I know is don't get 8 gauge for your amp to sub, it doesn't fit very well, as I am finding out now.

LOL i never even seen an amp that accepted bigger than 10ga for speaker wire.

Lets to a 0/1 mod on a speaker amp setup //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Im sure we can do a banana plug rig

My nine.1 seems to be taking 8 gauge, and the manual even said to give it at least 10 gauge. But the amp to my sub box is fine, it's just inside that needs some different wiring and help.
