ok i feel dumb even asking this but how can i install some tweeters without an amp? im running all my coaxes off of my HU for now until i get a better HU, Components, and then need an amp. could i just hook the tweeter up to the same wire my front driver side and front passenger side speakers are hooked up to? just splice the + and - with those?

Tweeters can be run off of your HU providing that the resistance being shown to the deck isn't less than 4 Ohms per channel (HU internal amps have a tendency to seriously dislike lower resistance loads)

You'll need some kind of filtering for the tweets to block the frequencies they are not intended to reproduce from being fed to them.

Are these tweeters you plan on using part of a component set? Stand-alone tweeters with their own passive crossover? A set of tweeters you found laying around during your last trip to the local salvage yard? What are we talking about here?
